Restaurant Quality Baked Potato Soup

We love baked potato soup at restaurants.  Here's how to make it just as good at home.  This would be a wonderful Christmas Eve soup with crusty bread.   Serve appetizers beforehand if you like.   Follow it up with cookies and eggnog.  Then a glass of wine while watching the movie White Christmas with Bing Crosby.  Perfect.
